Alternative Artist - Songwriter
Emily Grogan is a 17 year-old-musician from Luxembourg. She’s been writing her own songs ever since the age of 9 and classifies her music as indie/alternative. Her main inspiration derives from 90s bands such as Radiohead, Nirvana and more. Phoebe Bridgers is also a prominent influence on Emily’s work. Music serves as an outlet and release of emotions for her. It helps her compile her whirlwind of thoughts into one structured song.
Emily is a newcomer artist and has recently formed a new band called “Lyra” which is active on the local music scene. In 2021 she had the privilege of winning the Screaming Fields Song Contest prize organised by the Rocklab, which kickstarted her freshly formed career and has enabled her to gather all sorts of new knowledge surrounding the music business. Her first single “The Other Side” was released on 20 January. Stay tuned 🙂.
